The US Army Corps of Engineering District, Norfolk, contracted with THR Enterprises to provide for the construction
of a new 6,500 S.F. housing management facility, including all necessary support. The contractor shall provide all labor,
supervision, construction engineering and management, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to
perform all work described in the plans and specifications. The site preparation will include the demolition of existing
curbs and pavement, the relocation of an existing playground and benches, site lighting and the removal of several small
trees. The building is a one story structure constructed with structural steel studs, brick veneer, CMU, cold-form steel
roof trusses and a structural standing seam metal roof. The heating and cooling system will be served by a constant volume
direct expansion cooling/hot water heating air-handling unit. The building control system will be DDC controls. The
electrical system will consist of lighting, fire alarm system and a 800 ampere service. Project located at Langley Air
Force Base, Hampton, VA. The current value of this project is $1,335,695.00 |
